Ever wonder what it would sound like if Adele contributed a track to a movie soundtrack? Wonder no more. Thanks to YouTube user Gomnitus we now know. He's created a wonderful video montage using scenes from the movie "Brokeback Mountain" and set it to the tune of the British songbird's moving ballad "Someone Like You". If you're susceptible to getting choked up and misty-eyed when watching a sappy clip, bring out the Kleenex before watching it.
Even though the Adele track was written years after the gay cowboy love story hit theaters, the lyrics almost seem like they were written specifically for the movie. Watch the clip and you'll know what I mean. Sometimes the perfect song can just elevate a romantic movie to a new level. Just look at what "My Heart Will Go On" and "I Will Always Love You" did for "Titanic" and "The Bodyguard" respectively. Watch the video mashup below. It's definitely worth a quick look.
