Gilbert A. Brungardt Endowment
This endowment serves to honor Dr. Brungardt for his many years of contribution to Towson University as well as being a founding member of the Asian Arts & Culture Center in 1971 and President of the Advisory Board from 1997-2009. He was a key player in the growth and development of the Center and this endowment provides a stable funding source to support and enhance the mission of the Asian Arts & Culture Center. Dr. Brungardt passed away on December 29, 2010.
The Asian Arts & Culture Center

The Asian Arts & Culture Center was founded in 1971 to introduce Asian art and culture on campus and in the surrounding community and region. The Center presents exhibits in its dedicated gallery, in the Center for the Arts on the campus of Towson University as well as concerts, lectures and films throughout the year, serving all those interested in learning about and experiencing
the arts and
culture of Asia.
