Actress Melissa Gilbert has joined the 2012 Dancing with the Stars competition as a contestant on the ABC show.
Readers of this blog may ask,
"What the hell does this have to do with books?" Well, Melissa Gilbert portrayed Laura Ingalls Wilder, author of the timeless Little House
books.
If you've ever gone within five miles of Hallmark channel, you've seen the
Little House on the Prairie
TV series.
If you're me, you've seen more episodes than you can count.
I have to confess, it's been a couple of seasons since I've watched Dancing with the Stars. I may jump in to watch an episode or two this season, though.
I know its been years since Little House on the Prairie, but that's still what I always think of when I see Melissa Gilbert. She's got to be sick of always being referred to as Laura, but I can't help it.
