Preble County Commission Meeting of March 7, 2012 |
Mar 10th 2012, 20:24

Very short meeting at under an hour with not much to report on, File 5 had Randy Gilbert ending his 120 day probationary period. A couple minutes into file 5 Chris Day mentioned needing Randy over the next few years for projects. My view is that Chris means the creation of yet another sewer district at Goose Creek. Chris did not clarify what the projects were but one currently on the books that I am aware of is Goose Creek. There is also a proposed gas to energy plant at the landfill and the leachate line which has been started. This is another one of those times where the commission could be more forthcoming on what they are talking about. I think the results from the day before should show there is ample dissatisfaction with Goose Creek and the current commission. If the commission is unable to articulate what they are doing in a manner that persuades the public of a project's merit then perhaps the issue is the project.
